My story
A proud member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, I have been professionally trained as a Marriage and Family Celebrant and as a Funeral Celebrant.
It is an absolute privilege and an honor to be invited to conduct these ceremonies for people, during the happiest moments, or at the saddest of times.
Being based between Jersey and South Wales, I can easily commute to some breathtakingly beautiful locations and, as an Independent Celebrant, I can conduct your ceremony at any venue of your choosing. There are no limitations or restrictions: supportive and respectful of all gender identities and orientations; whether you have a strong faith, spiritual belief, or not; whether you want a traditional, contemporary, or more unique ceremony; I would love to conduct your ceremony and it will be completely personal to you.
I have a true joie de vivre, I am mad about living life to the full and deeply enthusiastic about everything I do ~ Truly Madly Deeply!
Having been a nurse and midwife for over 30 years, I have an ability to remain calm and collected, even in the scariest moments.
I can be pragmatic when necessary, but prefer to reach for the stars: after all, only those who are prepared to go too far, will know how far they can actually go. That said, sometimes, less is more and the simplest things in life are what truly matters.
My love for animals and nature instils serenity in my life and I would be delighted to include your fur family in any ceremony and in any location.
My other passions include horse riding, sea bathing and skiing, I look forward to conducting ceremonies from a favourite field, beach or piste, if that is your dream.
Embedded in my ethos for life are the core values of kindness, courage, positivity and integrity, with humour and laughter very much part of my core.
I am so lucky and so privileged to have shared in the most wonderful life events, throughout my career, and have never taken this for granted. I have been equally privileged to have sat quietly with people in their final moments and cared for them in death as I would in life.
Whether you are celebrating love, life or loss, I would love to hear from you if you think I could be the right person to conduct your ceremony.
This is me, but it’s actually not about me, it’s about you.
Love… Truly Madly Deeply
